CLEAR BY DESIGN
Your visit. Your choice.
Optional visitor analytics helps Arpit understand which public pages and features are useful. It starts only after you choose Allow optional analytics in the Privacy control.
What optional analytics records
Public page paths without query strings, anonymous browser and session tokens, page arrival time, foreground active time, scroll depth, broad section identifiers, selected feature actions, referral domain, browser/device category, approximate city and country, and a masked network prefix. Feedback records only Helpful or Needs work and an optional predefined reason. Error counts contain categories, never error messages, stack traces or form contents.
The server receives your public IP as part of a normal web request. Analytics stores only a masked prefix, such as 203.0.113.0/24, for up to seven days. Full IP addresses are not stored in this analytics dashboard. Location is derived from hosting-provider IP headers; it can be unavailable or inaccurate, especially with a VPN.
What stays out
Admin and sign-in pages, personal study reports, game progress, passwords, text you type, search queries, task names, trade details, screenshots, uploaded files and calculator inputs are excluded. This is not session replay or a keystroke recorder. Device-local tool data is separate from website visitor analytics.
Choice, storage & retention
Use the Privacy button on a public page to allow, stop, or request deletion of analytics linked to this browser’s current token. A small local preference remembers your choice. With permission, a random browser token lasts up to 30 days; a per-tab session resets after 30 minutes of inactivity. Browser privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track are respected.
Analytics activity and feedback are retained for up to 90 days, with daily automated cleanup. Masked network prefixes expire after seven days. After a deletion request, only a hashed suppression token is kept for up to 90 days to prevent late requests from recreating deleted activity. Clearing browser storage or changing devices can prevent us linking earlier tokens to your deletion request.
Only the authenticated website owner can view the dashboard. Data is processed by the site’s existing Vercel hosting and Cloudflare backend. Browser identifiers are not sold or used for advertising. Hosting providers may maintain their own operational/security logs separately from this dashboard.
How to read the numbers
Counts describe consenting browsers and sessions, not verified individuals. Background tabs, unfocused windows and time after 60 seconds without interaction are excluded from active time. Time is grouped under the page’s arrival date. Blockers, network failures and declined analytics mean the dashboard cannot include every visit. Short visits do not prove dissatisfaction; explicit feedback is shown separately.
